By Public Transportation

From Kyoto or Osaka,
there are two options: option one is the JR Biwako Line rapid train to Notogawa Station (40 minutes from Kyoto or 70 minutes from Osaka), followed by a short taxi ride,
or option two is taking the Shinkansen bullet train to Maibara Station, followed by a local JR train to Notogawa or a 45-minute taxi ride from Maibara.

From Tokyo,
take the Shinkansen bullet train to Maibara Station, a trip of about 2.5 hours. From Maibara, you can transfer to a local JR train to Notogawa, and a short taxi ride, or a 45-minute taxi from Maibara.

From Kansai International Airport,
take the JR Haruka train to either Shin-Osaka Station or Kyoto Station. After that, transfer to either the Shinkansen bullet train to Maibara Station or the JR Biwako Line’s rapid train to Notogawa Station. The entire journey takes approximately 2 hours.

By Car
From Kansai International Airport, a car rental is a convenient option. The drive takes about 2 hours via the Meishin Expressway. Parking is available a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. Please inform us if you require parking.
